Return to Dragons Back – Days 3 & 4

Day 3 - Golf at Champagne Sports Resort

Day 3 – Golf at Champagne Sports Resort

Day 3 – No trip to the Berg would be complete for us without a round of golf at Champagne Sports. We both l♡ve it there and it is where we got legally married. 🙂

Noid does the golf and I ride round and round on the cart.

Noid had a particular good game and many air power punches followed. Hahaha! (He hates Tiger Woods – floundering slut)

Day 4 – We ate, I read, Noid played with angry birds and I accidentally unplugged the bar fridge to put the fan on cause I like moving air …got back from supper to wet floor. Felt very like “So, so what?! I’m still a rock star…”. (Pink)

Wind is howling outside. L♡ve that!

Return to Dragons Back – Day 1

Now, I admit our Wedding Day, with butterflies (fear and excitement) that our parents, children and friends will kill us (some sadly never accepted, nor forgave our madness) for eloping, was lots more fun than our second wedding anniversary.

One of our many children made a fatal error in not informing us where they were and didn’t come home. Livid, worried and concerned an understatement.

Once child was located, it was jovial enough with Noid bringing me coffee in the bath.

Our domestic arrived as she needed the extra money from working on a public holiday. All hell broke loose. While I was doing my @TranqBodyTreats at Rosebank @rooftopmarket on Sunday, Noid had made a list of chores that had simply not been done. They were NOT small things, they were disgusting things leaving us to die of cholera of iets.

Yes, I am bi-polar. Most of the time cleverly camouflaged under allot of lipstick, perfume and medication.

Have you ever encountered a mental woman pick up speed in anger and scream so loud that your chest hurts? It is not pretty and the reason I will now own a gun.

Especially not when fable goes my 40 odd year old great grandmother got so angry at one of her many kids (don’t worry Ouma from long ago I have the many kids covered!) that she had a small scream and fell down dead. Not to be seen, besides a small haunting again.

I do not often reach that level of anger, and I was doing fairly okay until I went upstairs to find a favourite bra missing an underwire completely. The shirt I wanted to wear had marks ironed onto it and the war path was MINE!

Hours later, the nicest thing that happened to me thus far was Clarens in the Free State. Food was awesome, nice pics with Samsung tab as my Canon SLR is e-broken.

I wanted a cookbook which Noid didn’t buy which made me hate all over again that I became ill and had to leave my corporate job I did l♡ve cause it meant I had a small money.

Tranquil Body Treats is a new baby of mine, not one that can afford a cook book! We only 4 months old and profits don’t turn over that fast.

I do see Noid’s point in me hating cooking and that the book will probably gather dust. I REALLY DO…..but it was one of those books written by a tannie from the area and it had simple instructions, like turn on the stove.

I feel asleep somewhere on the drive trying to control the crap pain in my neck….and we were here.

We have come to the mountains many times, for a million reasons and always it brings peace.

There was champagne waiting in our room, ahhhhh!!! and we sat overlooking part of the amphitheatre.

Dinner was nice, Noid was convinced the man of colour got a bigger portion to him so I decided I will have extra ice cream and shared it with Noid.

By 9pm we were in bed. Lights off. Thankfully they didn’t remain off!

🙂

Saturday turned Sunday morning…

Hello my friends,

A bit of an update:

* I have been baking bread. Ha ha ha! Imagine that! My friend Natasja leads and I followed with a Russell Hobbs bread baker, with thanks to my husband. Makes me feel very pioneer like.

* Also been collecting recipe books, magazines and printing the odd internet find . If you have any recipes suitable for cooking / baking for Dummies (me) I would appreciate it. Keep it very simple, please!

* I am in two minds about my hair. To cut or not to cut. I l♡ve my black hair colour tough. I always have. Short hair makes a more dramatic statement for me I think and is more sassy, while long hair is my comfort blanket and I l♡ve the feel of my hair on my back.

* After watching “Real Steal” with most of the Waltons clan near midnight. Very touching this Rocky for robots.

* The kids put together a lovely anniversary dinner for us tonight. The food was REALLY good! Unfortunately Nic and our Liam James wasn’t here, but Kyle, Kev, Kyla, Douglas, Victoria and Jenna-Lee did a great job. Awesome guys!

* Good time for me to introduce you to our newest Waltons member. Kyla is 19, matriculated last year and is working for a UK medical recruitment company. 🙂 Dear Ky has her own story to tell, that isn’t mine to share, but we have been blessed to welcome a ridiculously intelligent, diligent, funny, driven, loyal, loving and giving young lady into the clan. Jenna-Lee is particularly taken with Ky as the big sister. 🙂

* Tranquil Body Treats at Rosebank @rooftopmarket is going well. I am enjoying it and have found I work very well by myself on Sundays at the market. I may get an assistant in during the busier Christmas season. We have awesome specials and happenings lined up and I remain thrilled with my job.

* My fathers parents celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this week. 🙂

* Excited about our trip to the Drakensberg in celebration of our 2nd wedding anniversary – only a little short of a week as I work Sundays. I l♡ve ttoad trips!

* My anxiety is out of control at the moment. I hate it. Having a hard time hiding it. Besides this, I feel constantly exhausted. I have little energy and a constant headache.

* Let me go, I need to get up in 4 hours to be at the Rosebank @rooftopmarket. 🙂
I wish you unicorns,
Wenchy♥
