Golden Toes – 29 December 2012

Noid played golf. Don’t think I ventured out the house. Noid played very well although he had a bad headache. I made hamburgers for supper.

Sunday, 30 December 2012

Late morning Noid and I went to Greenstone. He needed his watch fixed and we both needed bigger external drives. Got that, other bits and pieces and came home. I read, watched and were just home.

Busy day! Fetched our (newly) adopted daughter, Kyla and her BFF, Melissa from their sleep over. We got home, cleaned up, tidied up. Kev joined us and we drove to my tattoo God where Noid met us.

It was an afternoon of so much fun! 🙂 Kyla and Melissa, (being tattoo virgins both 19), got infinity tattoo’s to mark their friendship. It made me miss Jax (whom I do share a tattoo with) and Mel very much.

I had a “Live Laughter Love” tattoo done (check Face Book) on my back which is beautiful with purple butterflies and red hearts. I do LOVE it!!

My eldest, darling son, Kev (19) had the words “You’ll never walk alone” tattooed on his left forearm as to Kevin, Liverpool FC is a religion and off course, that is the anthem. I felt proud of him.

Noid has been using a profile picture on BBM for ages saying “BElieve in YOUrself” which he had tattooed on his bi-cep which does look so painful, but looks really nice.

Tattoo God did maintenance on tattoos where needed…..and in the last moment I asked him to add “Let it be” on my lef

  • t forearm. 🙂

Brent (Tattoo God) and his beautiful fiance, Carrie and their daughter Rougen had a really fantastic afternoon. They good people.

    Sjoe. Busy day.

I was at the gym just after 7am. Showered at home and rushed to Pretty Woman to have my nails done. Thank you Thembi!

Rushed home to fetch Kyla and Melissa, off to Wil and finally off to the Pantomime, “Jack and the beanstalk.” I so love the theatre!

I have not seen my BFF, Wil in weeks. We both went to art school and love the performing arts. We went together last year also. Was really happy to see my friend.

Back home I went to lay down, I was exhausted. I was awaken by Noid, coming home from golf. We both were in pain! Enough for Noid to take meds! We plunged into TV watching slobs. The girls made us supper, THANK YOU!

Kids have all gone out and we happily watching TV 🙂

    I wish you enough,
    Wenchy

    Dinner at The Keg, Linksfield

    Dinner at The Keg, Linksfield

    Monday, 24 December 2012

An eventful morning of trying to get the house presentable. Dishes, clothes, unhelpful kids. Kyla thankfully organised the troops downstairs and I did upstairs a nd eventually I had 3 grumpy kids showered, dressed and ready to meet Noid…..leaving behind an exhausted Kyla!

Since we are far removed from the white picket fence lane, we have to make do with life, and traditions as we can.

We took the 3 smallest kids we still had with us (some work, some are with other parents etc) to go Christmas shopping.

They each got an amount to spend and they chose to their hearts content. Last year we gave them vouchers but Noid wanted the experience of shopping with them.

It wasn’t as exhausting with the crowds as I thought it would be so I got some bits for lunch that wasn’t included in the @woolworths_sa lunch Noid’s Mom organised and had delivered to us as they now reside in Swellendam.

We joined Kev at The Keg for supper as he was already there with friends. I always have liver and onions. 🙂

Tuesday, Christmas Day, 25 September 2012

Again with the cleaning and I cooked lamb and pork roasts with veg to go with all the yummy bits Mother Mary had @woolworths_sa deliver the day before. Lunch was really nice. I enjoyed it lots!

We did a Skype call with Dion’s parents after which the other parents came to fetch them. It is never nice when the kids leave.

More with the cleaning with great help from Noid and Kyla. Thank you !

Eventually just felt exhausted. TV. Bed.

    Tuesday, 26 December 2012

I woke up early. Contemplated gym. Brushed my teeth and back to bed. When I woke up Noid and Kyla were cleaning and doing washing so I did upstairs again. I also kicked Kevin’s ass outta bed to help!

We all did our own thing today…..the rain came. We rescued the washing thankfully!

Am attempting to finish my year end quiz this week.

    I wish you enough,
    Wenchy

    Thursday, 20 December 2012

We took a drive to Cathedral Peak and went up Mike’s Pass. Is a fabulous 4×4 road and I have no idea who Mike was. Liam read at the top where there was a plague singing Mike’s praises. Liam James immediately told me we can pretend it belongs to Oupa Mike! 🙂

The view is truly spectacular! The rain clouds were building and the shapes kept changing around us. It was beautiful.

    Friday, 21 December 2012

Coming home always has a sadness that the trip is over but a happy to be going home feeling.

We packed, swiftly and left Champagne Sports Resort on time. Noid wanted to do the Mountain Road which is very scenic and where you can also see many low income families, all sporting DSTV satellite dishes. It makes me laugh allot.

We went to Tower of Pizza which serves orgasmic milkshakes and awesome pizza. I really like it there!!

We stopped at ATKV in Drakensville to see my sister, Mary-Ann and her husband Chris. Hugely inspirational they are!

Our road home was long and filled with many accidents and we had to do a major detour on a sand road. Noid got us all home safe. I was so tired. I pretty much went to sleep.

    Saturday, 22 December 2012

Hot! I did some shopping with Kevin for food, lounged around, watched some TV, Noid cooked pork chops on the gas braai outside and I packed Tranquil Body Treats for the final day at the market for this year. I showered well after midnight.

    Sunday, 23 December 2012

Awake at 5am, dressed and off to Rosebank @rooftopmarket. A lovely atmosphere at the market! 🙂 By 4h30pm I struggled to keep my eyes open! Seriously!! We were busy. At one stage Anabelle and I were falling over each other! The new chocolate peppermint range is a HUGE hit!

Came home round 7pm to KFC, thanks Noid!

Wishing you enough sleep and Tranquil Body Treats delights.

    40

I opened my 2013 dairy today.

Be I granted the breath, I have an entire book before me to fill with wonder – an excited anticipation.

Life is seldom pure joy on a daily basis, and I am already aware of some of the obstacles I need to face.

Yet, I cannot help but wonder what life will bless me with in my 40th year, nor what will bring a tear.

It is THE year. 13 is my lucky number {since it is my birthday on 13 June}. I will turn 40, my son, Kev will turn 20 and my Mammie 60. Somehow I feel RED is going to feature, so I am starting with my roots so long. L0L

40 is kinda the middle of anyone’s life if you lucky. I hope to be the weird odd aunt with fabulous hair, perfect eyebrows and red lipstick who says fuck allot… along with “….in my day things weren’t as easy as you have it today my boy! We still had to pay to use the internet!”

In 2013, I wish for awesome health, great emotional strength, critical healing for my heart, motivation to reach physical and mental goals…. the freedom to dream once more. I wish for enough money to meet needs, and the pleasure of a few wants. Sexual, sensual adventures and more laughter than tears.

As always, I wish you enough,
    Wenchy♥

PS. For my 40th year I would like gold charms for all special occasions. Charms that remind you of me and a note to say why. PLEASE xxx

You can motivate by fear, and you can motivate by reward. But both those methods are only temporary. The only lasting thing is self motivation. ~ Homer Rice
