With school holidays upon us, Ster-Kinekor is giving you the chance to catch specialpre-release screenings of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles at all Ster-Kinekor cinemas nationwide. Be among the first movie-goers in the country to catch this film on the big screen on Saturday, 11 October and Sunday, 12 October.
Based on the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles characters created by Peter Laird and Kevin Eastman, producer Michael Bay (the blockbuster Transformers franchise) and director Jonathan Liebesman (Wrath of the Titans) bring the one-of-a-kind heroes in a half-shell back – as a new generation of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles emerges from the sewers of New York. They return in a fresh incarnation that fuses the Turtle’s gritty, underground roots with the feisty sense of merriment that turned them into the world’s most lovable action idols . . . bringing them cowabunga-ing into a live-action adventure!
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Synopsis:
The city needs heroes. Darkness has settled over New York City as sinister Shredder has seized control of New York City’s police and politicians, leaving his ruthless Foot Clan to spread chaos in the streets.
With no prospects for salvation in sight, mutant crime-fighters Raphael, Leonardo, Donatello, and Michaelangelo leap into action. They put up a fierce fight, too, though in order to truly defeat Shredder, the heroes in a half shell will need the help of courageous reporter April O’Neil (Megan Fox) and her quick witted cameraman Vern Fenwick (Will Arnett) as well. With their help, Shredder’s plan will quickly unravel, and this once-great city will rise again.
The film stars Megan Fox, Will Arnett, William Fichtner, Danny Woodburn, Abby Elliott, Noel Fisher, Jeremy Howard, Pete Ploszek, Alan Ritchson and Minae Noji.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles release nationwide on 17 October and carries a 7-9 PGV classification and the running time is 1hrs, 41mins.
