Dear friends and other interesting creatures,
Last Friday I was in a fabulous position to rush home to a Swedish Massage in the privacy of my own home. I had high expectations of feeling totally sleepy and being able to just get in bed after but SirNoid and I was invited to dinner (perks of load-shedding?) so I had to get dressed and go out after
so I will just have to do this all again.
DYME is a downloadable app that partnered with independent mobile beauty and spa therapists, facilitating the gap between therapist and client. If you would like to check out all the details regarding how the tech part of it all works, you can do that HERE.
When you download the app, you’ll get R150 off your first booking. All you need to do is quote the voucher code DYME150. Winner!
What appealed to me is the use of technology, that you could choose your therapist based on experience and gender as well as the pure convenience of it all.
My therapist, Sikhangele arrived on time, well presented, prepared and once I showed her where I would like her to set up, she proceeded. Our time was so well mentioned we were able to share a refreshment together. I loved that she set up candles around the bed which gave my bedroom a beautiful scent. The only disappointment to us both was that because of load-shedding we were not very successful with getting background music playing and my neighbour’s boys were quite rowdy!
As for the therapist herself, I thought she was just stunning. She asked me which areas to focus on and did a great job and sorting out my neck and upper shoulders. I did not feel uncomfortable at any point, her technique was on point and her bedside manner excellent.
The app truly takes care of everything. Making the appointment, payment, options of beauty therapies on offer and Sikhangele just enhanced the experience with the human element.
Would I use the service again?
Absolutely! The only bit I would change is that I would book a couples massage for SirNoid and I and have a bedroom picnic ready once we politely waved goodbye! Most enjoyable and a positive experience.
I wish you enough,
