1. I love watching Queer Eye🥂. I cry at the end of almost every episode. I’ve learned about the French tuck, the crisscross of walking in heels (with a touch of bend and snap 😊), and if you open your heart and mind… there are circles of love everywhere.

2. When my kids were growing up, I never realised that so much of my self-worth was wrapped up in being their Mom. The empty nest syndrome is real. We should talk about this more so parents are not left feeling lost, and questioning who they are.

3. I am caught between educating others regarding anxiety and having it sound like an excuse, instead of the explanation it is intended to be. Extreme anxiety is complicated to explain, for example: not answering the phone, cancelling plans or even just writing 500 words can result in a panic attack. It is difficult but not impossible.

4. I absolutely love my African Hips Don’t Lie Merchandise journey. Every time I discuss the options with a client, I get so excited! It reaffirms my purpose and me wanting people to embrace themselves where they are at. Besides that, I think every day is #AfricaDay! 😊

5. I currently have a thing for old fashioned “soetkoekies” like my Ouma Chrissie use to make. 🙈 Not my healthiest obsession! 😂
