African Hips Don't Lie

Mona Lisa looks as if she has just been sick, or is about to be.

Dear friends and other interesting creatures. I’m choosing to believe there are no fuckwits for today.

I have been doing this 30 day meme thingie which is cool although some of the questions are sommer just stupid, but it doesn’t really share much of what is happening in my life hey? I do have a second 30 day meme lined up to keep me blogging…. If you don’t use it, you lose it you know. 🙂

  • Thanksgiving is now less than two weeks away. It being the 10th one thrills me. My thanksgiving tradition has lasted longer than all my marriages!!!!
  • Relationships as with life, are always evolving. I am thankful for new friendships and have appreciation for old ones.
  • My health hasn’t been fabulous. Actually it has been kak.
  • It feels like I have moved from one ailment to the next and it is frustrating me endless.
  • Maybe my body or my mind or my soul, or some fairy in a forest land is telling me to SLOW THE HELL DOWN, I don’t know….. I didn’t think I was moving that fast.
  • Somebody mentioned we must be loving the honeymoon period to me the other day and I felt like telling them to fuck off. Noid and I have been living apart for close on three months now, although the wheels are in motion for this to change soon.
  • Time moves at the same pace, if you are enjoying yourself or not.
  • I HATE going to sleep alone. I HATE waking up alone. I have not decided which one gets me down more.
  • We do see each other most days and off course on weekends and we communicate throughout the day.
  • I have noticed some subtle difference in our running of households so it will be an adjustment living together again but Noid assures me compromise is the mother of all fixing all differences.
  • I do love being the wife and him being the husband – even with our current eccentric way of living and loving.
  • I finally have decided on a new signature, have applied for ID in my married name and still look for Noid’s mother when anyone calls me Mrs Kruger.
  • I love having my grandmother’s surname. I know is quirky but is special to me.
  • I love my job – a month or two in and all good. Yay!
  • I haven’t killed any of the kids either… although it’s been close.
  • My Tranquil Body Treats sales are going well, huge thank you for the support. xxx It is easier for me if you order directly via moi, than via the web site….
  • There is a difference between being alone and feeling lonely. I am lonely – often.
  • I finally found a fabulously, personal beauty salon for the small things I have done, after deciding to write off the one in Norwood Mall. I love that the new salon offer you something to drink, lots of space, funky decorated and by the second time I was there I was greated and treated as a regular… cold water immediate…. and very very relaxing… and yes, my newest hobby – very Jewish! 🙂 Love it. Thanks to my friend Joanne for the recommendation.
  • I need to order new moo cards since all my details have changed and I use them lots now with my Tranquil Body Treats order.
  • Our joined ones with pics of our wedding have arrived and I love them. Still thinking of doing postcards or something as an ‘announcement’ just to use a nice picture.

BTW – stop lurking. Lack of comments is pissing me off. 😛

  1. I have been very busy and have thus not been replying….you still love me 🙂

I will try to go by the party store and see if they have any Thanksgiving things on special that I can maybe bring for next year’s celebration….or I can just bring a pack of Combo’s 😀

I sure hope I see you!! It has been too many years since I have last seen my second grade friend.

I wish I was there in time for Thanksgiving….don’t worry…I will be there for a “proper South African Christmas”…braaivleis en slaai poppie 🙂

  2. Now this is better 🙂 I don’t like the 30 questions thingy (sorry).

I’m happy for you that things at work is better now and you can go to work with a smile – he is not McDreamy but he is also a nice guy.

I’m with you on the going to sleep and waking up alone bit. Hopefully that will be sorted soon (mine on the other hand is pretty much a permanent thing at the moment and will be for some time to come).

  3. I have also been enjoying the 30 day meme, even though some of the questions are stupid, but it has been good nontheless.
Hope your health gets better, it sucks being sick, but even more so when it’s in summer!

  4. I am in the same place with kak health. I wonder what makes one(me included) feel lonely when we aren’t alone. I am glad that life seems to be looking up.

  5. Nice post, catching up on blog reading, will make a longer comment next time lol….

  6. I love the 30 days meme, especially the more interesting questions (and answers) but I did appreciate a catch-up on current affairs. I think you and Noid are very cool in your eccentricness, in manner of Tim Burton and Helena Bonham-Carter. I have fantasies of that sometimes: living next-door to my husband, with an inter-leading tunnel, lol. I know it is not by choice though for you, I’m just joking. Hope you have your own love-nest soon, and no more lonely nights/ early mornings.

  7. just to not piss you off :p Hope the living together thing come together quickly!

  8. But lurking is easy, it’s sooo hard thinking up a comment :p

  9. I agree with your husband that compromising is the thing to sort out any difference. That is what me and hubby have been doing since we started dating and then got married. For 10 years now, this have worked for us.

  10. Thrilled to hear that there’s light at the end of the living-apart tunnel. That must suck almost as much as … well, you know. 😉

  11. I agree with you – why do people read and not comment!

Anyhoo, I am so glad that you are getting the living arrangements together. I am still not sure if we will make it to Thanksgiving – our lives is a complete mish of chaos at present.

And I know what lonely feels like.

(BTW – when I saw the Mona Lisa in real life I though – what the hec, it is tiny, very dull and she is not pretty at all.The poor woman is just too sad.

  12. Unfortunately I also wake up, and go to sleep, alone much of the time and it really, really sucks. I feel for you and am so envious that your situation will soon resolve itself, you certainly deserve it.

  13. Nice Post my sweet Babylove.

I am sooooo not enjoying the current situation, as you know, but hold onto the hope of our Dream becoming a complete, being together, reality soon.

    I love you

  14. Right after we got married someone asked Gary about Mrs. Allman and he sputtered and then caught himself just in time. He almost told them that he’s divorced from her. It’s been over a year and a half now and I think he’s finally realized that I’m Mrs. Allman.
